Whatever happened to these products?

I know that for a while there were some preview downloads on Jim's FFE (Fast Forward Entertainment) site, back when FFE still existed. I got the impression at the time that they were quite a ways along in development, and kind of expected to see one or more of these long before now.

I assume that anything done "back then" would have been for either 1E or 3E, but I can't even remember that for sure.

Any word on these?

Asteroid is incorporated into MA4e as a part of the rules and setting, while Bonne Brown was completed and play tested by some of our forum members here. It needs artwork and new maps, but is ready to go, thanks to some terrific play testers.

Bonnie Brown is a product that I am anxiously awaiting. The stories threads are fantastic.

David,

Thanks for the vote of confidence :)

I will enjoy getting it published. It is currently the lead product for the poll "What should Craig Work On Next?"

If I can recover the money I used to pay for the artwork for THOTH from sales, I might be able to fund artwork and professional cartography for BB. It might take the combined profits of BB and Starship Geomorphs to do it. We'll see.

Have you considered some form of "patronage" model where folks pre-order, get to see prototype versions, get to make suggestions, then get a free copy of the final verison. The pre-order cost basically pays for the art and overhead, then the buyer is "paid back" by getting the final product.

This seems to work for some companies and might help with your money-up-front issues.

I've seen a couple of companies do this, but they have a larger support base that we do.

BB is a MA4e product, and again, that is a subset within our support base.

I am not sure that this would work for us at this time.

Craig

You can get the CS Bonnie Brown here: http://firesidecreations.com/fsc-store/ma1/csbb-detail

I would love to see the asteroid developed.

The Bonnie Brown project is amazing. Not only did Craig do a great job in the design, Stephen and his group did an amazing layout job on the product. I've enjoyed reading it from cover to cover several times.

Stephen,

Not many people realise that Asteroid + MA3e became MA4e.
