Hi All!

Eldritch Enterprises' products can be purchased from DriveThru RPG here.

Please take a look, and if you have purchased something, please seriously consider a review! Help spread the word. Jim and Co. are awful at blowing their own trumpets and wouldn't be caught dead astro-turfing, so please help them out.

Well,

Looks like my only option at this stage is to buy POD versions via RPGNow or DriveThru RPG. Oh well, let the waiting commence....

Craig,

I just recently went back to DriveThruRPG to download the revision-updated Eldritch Enterprise's Watermarked PDFs I'd purchased previously. There was also the option of purchasing a Softcover B&W (or both).

Apols for my ignorance here but what exactly is the POD version? Is that also a softcopy or print option?

Although I already have all the pdfs, I will probably purchase those softcovers in addition. I'm curious if there is artwork or other illustrations in those that are not present in the pdfs?

In all honesty, I was hoping to somehow get my hands on a Hardback (& maybe even signed?) version of Heroes & Magic. Now THAT would be beyond awesome! 8-)

Cheers,

Mitch

As far as I know (now), the only print version is the Print On Demand (POD) version available through RPGNow. I believe the limited edition hardcover prints were made for GenCon, and like you, I would give my eye teeth for one of those :)

We don't have hard covers yet. But they are in the works. Each hardcover has more material than what you can buy online. I will be sure and tell you when they are available.

PS: Craig, thanks for making such a fine looking display of our products.

Jim,

You are most welcome. It's a great looking range. Next month I'll order a couple more hard copies. I am looking forward to getting the whole lot. If I ever get the chance I'll be asking you guys to sign them when I finally get over there :)

Jim,

I am glad to say that I have just started downloading Heroes and Magic, and am looking forward to reading it.

I was pleased to see that you have included "The Duel" in this collection :)

The Postie was kind to me today and Dark Outpost arrived :) !!!

The pdf is nice, but the POD version has just really made my day.

Hey, would people here be interested in posting conversions to different systems?

I'd be happy to start a topic just for that.

Hi Craig,

What is the quality of the Print on Demand version like?

Regards,

The POD version is perfect bound, with a glossy cover. The binding of the spine appears to be of very good quality. The cover graphic is sharp and the colors are distinct (even I can make them out). The interior artwork is also sharp, with only few grey scale artwork pieces scattered throughout the book.

The text is large enought to be read clearly by those who should probably admit they need glasses, without being too large. I just did a test and can read it from 8 feet away, but my eyesight is excellent (even if I am colorblind).

My favourite piece of artwork is on page 8, and you'll know why, when you see it :)

Some of the artwork grabs me, other pieces don't. That's just a personal taste observation, not a complaint. For example, I don't like the style of the vehicle on page 66, but it serves a purpose. The vast majority of the artwork is linked to the text, which is terrific for setting atmosphere for the game.

The maps are black and white line drawings that have not been photoshoped to artistic perfection and beyond all practical use. The maps are clear, practical, uncluttered and large enough to read and generally with room for you to add something of your own if you want :)

If you are going to run this adventure as a GM, I would recommend reading Leviathan Wakes by James A. Corey. It is a book with a similar theme, which might provide additional inspiration for GM's wanting to try their hand at horror on a space station.

If I was going to use this adventure for Metamorphosis Alpha, I'd suggest placing the station in the middle of a parklands-filled level and calling it Epsilon City. This adventure would work very well with either MA3e or MA4e.

I'm really pleased to announce that I have a new adventure on the website for sale. It's a fun fantasy adventure. I'm hoping some of you buy the product and give me some feedback on what you think of it.

Happy Holidays,

James M. Ward

Nice to hear that you have a new adventure out there, Jim, but some of us are still looking for more MA stuff from you. (Hint, hint!) I know you've done lots of fantasy things over the decades, but in my mind I still think of MA as your crowning achievement. 8-)

Oh, and now I guess Craig has to re-do that wonderful graphic.

Over in his Q&A thread at DF, I believe Jim mentioned his intention to convert his recent and most-awesome EE module Dark Outpost over to MA using the 4th edition rules! 8-)

Oh and almost forgot...

Happy Thanksgiving to all the good MAers out there!

Based on your recommendation, I picked up a copy of this book. It's really good. I'm around 50-60 pages away from the end and have found it to be a real page-turner. 8-)

I am glad that you are enjoying that :) The sequel is just as good and I am yet to grab the third in the series.

Curse these talented writers pushing out series...
