Okay, keep in mind that my intent is not to be critical. Also, I have zero experience with Cafe Express and know nothing about how easy or hard it is to set up an account or set up products or whatever.

I happened to notice that there is this quirky RPG called "Bean" where the shtick is that you roll beans with "+" or "-" written on them instead of rolling dice. The guy came up with a cheezy logo and made a store to sell his stuff. I don't know anything about this game; this is just an example of the kind of things I see online a lot.

I know that the WardCo page has a smaller selection but they tend to use a larger variety of images. So, I guess I'm wondering what goes into making something like this. If you have a logo or a picture or something like that, what has to happen in order to create a zillion different products with that same logo or picture on it? Is it a simple or complex process? Is it more expensive if you offer more options?

Bottom line - I guess I'm wondering: would it be easy to take a single MA logo and expand the selection, or is this a chore?

It isn't that big a chore. We just wanted to not saturate the market with stuff and try to make it all original as possible. Like the radioactive material thermos :)

I've seen a number of smaller companies do some really cheesy stuff (that is, whacking their logo on every single item on offer) and can't justify that kind of a shameless cash grab. I'd rather do a bit of stuff right.

Heck, if it's easy then go for the cash grab. We might find that different folks like different products.

For example, I love the concept of coffee mugs but I don't actually drink coffee and don't really want something that might break -- I would actually be more interested in a plastic glass or mug that looked similar to the glass ones than I would be in one that's actual glass.

Or I'd love to have some pencils with the MA logo on them.

Or I'd enjoy a cheap button with the MA logo; one I could hand out to players if I run a game at a game store.

Or a set of dice with a MA logo where the 1 ought to be.

Something like that.

Although there are no such things as stupid questions when given in a serious vein, I don't always have a lot of good answers for you. With the MA kickstarter we are going to see some amazing things in MA products. There are adventures and accessories coming out this year and they look great.

I'm talking to several companies about other kickstarters as people see they can make money with my license.

I think all of you patient people will be pleased in the months to come.

In my defense, my earlier posts were done before the Goodman Games kickstarter. There is a lot of cool stuff therein, enough to satisfy my MA craving for a while, at least.

Not that I wouldn't look at more cool stuff if offered through WardCo, you understand. A true junkie can never quite get enough....
